Professional student

To be eligible for this experience you must be:

• In an educational program that requires hospital experience before you can graduate
• In a program that has a contract with Salem Health for student experiences
• Required to complete a hands-on, patient-care rotation
• Interested in having this experience at a Salem Health facility

Salem Health has contracts with colleges throughout the nation to provide professional training for their clinical or business students.

Students must be enrolled in an accredited university or college training program that leads directly to certification, registration or licensure in a health care profession to be considered for a clinical placement.

Placements are arranged directly by the educational institution and the hospitals. Interested students whose schools do not presently have a contract with our hospitals are encouraged to discuss their interest with their schools.

If accepted for clinical placement, students will proceed through the same orientation process as a new employee. Submit your request for placement by completing the professional student application.
