New antimicrobial order-sets started Dec. 13

New antimicrobial order-sets are now available at Salem Hospital! These order-sets replace existing panels and/or add ordering content for previously undefined disease states within Epic, in accordance with the 2023 to 2024 Salem Health Adult Inpatient Infectious Diseases Treatment Guideline.

These order-sets went live on Dec. 13:

• Inpatient adult sepsis
• Inpatient adult pneumonia
• Abdominal infection
• Central nervous system (CNS) infection
• Inpatient soft skin and tissue infection (SSTI)
• Urinary tract infection (UTI)
